CABINETRY

LASTING CRAFTSMANSHIP
TO FIT YOUR SPACE

Our full-service workshop is capable of creating quality pieces that meet functional and storage needs while matching design and overall aesthetic. In addition to offering individual carpentry services, we are able to incorporate services such as custom cabinetry, shelving, and accents into our design-build solutions.

CABINETRY

With extensive experience in assembly, installation, and fabrication, we offer a wide range of cabinetry services to fit any style or budget. We can incorporate preexisting cabinet selections into the design, or our design team can assist with selecting cabinets, fixtures, and finishes. For more customized designs and styles, we can fabricate custom cabinetry as a part of our millwork services.

We can provide cabinetry services for
areas such as:

  • Kitchens
  • Bathrooms
  • Laundry rooms
  • Pantries and closets
  • Offices

CASEWORK

Our carpentry services include casework, where we work with prefabricated pieces that come with standard measurements and dimensions. With casework, we assemble the ready-made parts into items such as cabinets or boxes and handle onsite installation. For unfinished casework, we can apply a variety of finishes including stains and paints.

From our casework services, we can build:

  • Bookcases
  • Storage solutions
  • Shelving units
  • Drawers and racks
  • Furniture
  • Reception desks
  • Point of sale stands
  • Countertops

MILLWORK

Because every space is unique, sometimes designs call for items in sizes and styles
that are not able to be ordered. From our workshop, we can create handcrafted pieces specifically made to fit your space. Our millwork often includes built-in units and accents incorporated into the
architecture.

From our millwork services, we can create:

  • Bars
  • Mantels
  • Molding
  • Trim
  • Wall paneling

WHAT IS CUSTOM CABINETRY?

Custom cabinetry refers to “made to order” cabinets, where each aspect of the piece is tailored to your unique specifications. When it comes to cabinet style, you can choose their preferred materials, fixtures, and finishes, as well as various framing options, such as inset, full overlay, or partial overlay.

In addition to cabinet style, custom cabinetry designs may include features that meet the functional needs of the space. This could mean adding soft close hinges to doors and drawers or wooden storage dividers inside drawers to keep things organized.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
CASEWORK AND MILLWORK?

Casework is a form of modular carpentry which involves assembling ready-made parts and pieces into box-shaped furniture to be used for storage or displaying items. While casework furniture is built from standard templates and is therefore not fully customizable, there are often a variety of styles to choose from to match the design.

The word “millwork” literally means pieces and materials fabricated in a mill, such as a sawmill or lumber mill. Millwork pieces can be both functional and decorative, and they are customized to the client’s specifications, including size, material, and style. Millwork services are often used when a design requires a piece outside of standard dimensions or available styles.

Cabinetry can fall under either casework or millwork, depending on if the cabinet is prefabricated or made from a custom design.

WHAT ARE YOU ABLE TO MAKE?

We are fully equipped to create pieces that bring together aesthetics and function, including:
  • Storage and organization pieces
  • Display units
  • Accents and embellishments
While we list a few examples under each of our services, the options are truly endless!
